Pacific Biodiesel Completes First “Sunflower” Biodiesel Delivery from Its Kauaʻi Ag Operations
On June 24, 2025, Pacific Biodiesel made its first delivery of biodiesel produced with sunflower oil from the company’s expanded agriculture operations on Kauaʻi to longtime customer Hawaiian Electric for its 50-megawatt Schofield Generating Station on O’ahu.
Corn Crop Sprouts up in Kaumakani
July 14, 2025 This summer, our newest crop sprouting up in Kaumakani is… feed corn! This crop, a non-GMO variety that’s suitable for human and animal consumption, will be harvested initially for local chicken feed.
McDonald’s Recognized on National French Fry Day for Commitment to Used Cooking Oil Recycling
July 11, 2025 Today is National French Fry Day! We are giving a special MAHALO shoutout to McDonald’s, not only for their famous French Fries, but for helping to make a positive impact on Planet Earth and our local green economy.

March 18, 2025 Pacific Biodiesel today announced that March 18, 2025 has been proclaimed “Pacific Biodiesel Day” in Hawaiʻi by Governor Josh Green, M.D.
The proclamation was presented by Lt. Governor Sylvia Luke to Pacific Biodiesel President Bob King and Director of Operations Jenna Long at the State Capitol.

June 3, 2022 The first of six mobile biodiesel fueling stations in Hawai‘i opened at Ma‘alaea Small Boat Harbor on Maui. Pacific Biodiesel installed and will operate the off-grid fueling station at the busy harbor.“This innovative fueling station gives customers 24/7 access to fuel up with our locally produced, 100% renewable fuel,” said Pacific Biodiesel Founder Bob King.
