On June 9, 2010 the first commercial biodiesel was produced in the state of Alaska. Constructed in Salem, Oregon by Pacific Biodiesel Technologies & JVNW for Alaska Green Waste Solutions, the plant was disassembled for shipment and reassembled at its current site in Anchorage.
