Employees Recognized on “Pacific Biodiesel Day”

Pacific Biodiesel team on Hawaii Island
Celebrating National Biodiesel Day, we recognized all its employees, including this team from the Hawai’i Island refinery.

On National Biodiesel Day 2025 – proclaimed as “Pacific Biodiesel Day” in Hawaiʻi by Governor Josh Green – we are recognizing our nearly 100 employees statewide.

Bob and Kelly King shared this message in the March 18, 2025 issue of our company’s employee newsletter, Laulima:

“Today, as Pacific Biodiesel celebrates 30 years and growing as Hawaiʻi’s only commercial producer of biodiesel, we are honored to recognize all of YOU, our dedicated employees who work together – in the spirit of kākou – to support our company’s mission. We appreciate your passion, innovation and commitment!”

Recognition: It’s a Kākou Thing!

To mahalo our dedicated employees, Pacific Biodiesel gave every employee a gift card from Foodland.

Giving Back on Pacific Biodiesel Day

“The community-focused values of Foodland are similar to our own. That’s why we chose today to give each of our employees a Foodland gift card – to support another local company that supports local farmers and food producers that help feed our local communities. We are grateful for the support of our employees and our customers around Hawaiʻi, including Foodland,” said Director of Operations Jenna Long.

Pictured here are group photos from our employee teams around the state as they received their gift cards and special edition of Laulima today! Mahalo nui loa to everyone who makes Pacific Biodiesel such a powerful, positive force across the state of Hawai‘i!
